While working in-house with Ian Schrager, Shelby led and managed social media for PUBLIC Hotel, as well as the outlet accounts for Public Arts and Public Kitchen. She handled everything from content calendars and community management to content shoots, copywriting, artist collaborations and more.

As Social Media Consultant for EDITION Hotels, Shelby Eastman serves as "Social Editor in Chief," leading content strategy across property accounts. She provides expert guidance on social media calendars, tone of voice, image selection, video editing, performance analysis, and more, ensuring each property’s voice aligns with the EDITION brand consistently month over month.

Shelby leads the social media team at Once Upon a Time Agency, a globally recognized hospitality agency. She and her team manage full-scale social media strategy for multiple clients, including calendars, influencers, shoots, reporting, and more.

Ian Schrager tasked Shelby with revamping his personal social media strategy. She took a unique approach by focusing on sharing his inspirations alongside his hotel projects. Shelby created the #IanSchragerLikes hashtag campaign, which has since generated 5 million impressions and 90K new followers, and is still active today.

Shelby and her team managed the full social media strategy for Fairmont Miramar and Fig Santa Monica restaurant, including monthly calendars, content shoots, influencer relations, event content capture, reporting, and more.

Managed social media and led all content strategy for Spare Room Hollywood, an award-winning bar located inside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

Shelby worked with Ben Pundole, founder of A Hotel Life, for over three years to revamp the brand's social media strategy. Shelby also contributed as an editor for the website, offering insights and reviews on a range of hotels. Additionally, Shelby launched and managed the A Hotel Life podcast.
